Nick Raynsford joined local Greenwich Councillors and celebrated the winter solstice at the Twinkle Park Winter Festival in Deptford this weekend. Members of the public are invited to attend a lantern-making workshop and help out with pond-clearings, before taking part in a beautiful lantern procession through the streets to celebrate the shortest day of the year and the prospect of longer lighter evenings as summer approaches.
